Indian Air Force Review

I was invited by Marshal of the Indian Air Force, Arjan Singh DFC, to attend the Review of the Indian Air Force by President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, at Chandigarh on March 7, 2007. What a memorable day it was. Please click here to see more photographs and a brief account of the event.

    Roopinder Singh had written a biography of MAF Arjan Singh who asked him to attend President’s Fleet Review on March 7, 2007.

    Roopinder’s blog has a good collection of photographs of the event. If you click on “click here” in the text. a total of 28 largish thumbnails will open up. You can enlarge each of these by clicking on them. You can also surf by using Next or Previous buttons on top of the pictures. Their numbering seems to be in separate groups as Roopinder must have decided.

    Roopinder is obviously an accomplished photographer. This is the first collection of pictures from the event sent to us. For this I am very grateful to him. Please leave a message for him at his blog if you feel like it.

    Hi Roopinder
    If you carry on like this, very soon you’ll have to give up writing for what is obviously your first love. Fantastic shots. Almost feels like one is right there witnessing the drama unfolding in the skies. An apt tribute for what our men in uniform do. Look forward to more stunning pictures unravelling many more stories in the days ahead.

    the pics show only the air show there was a fleet of airmen in the review it is not displayed here
